There's an unparalleled excitement and sense of accomplishment upon finishing a series. Still, with so many series lining the shelves, it can be rather hard to keep up with them all, especially with new ones popping up all over the place.
I'm a bit ashamed to admit the number of series I need to finish. It's not that I don't want to - I do, I do! But something's holding me back. A large part of this hesitation is that it's been way too long since I last read the previous books that at this point I need to just start over. And that requires a large chunk of time, time that I could spend reading a new book, maybe one that is a standalone. Then there are series that I'm itching to start, like Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series or Kelley Armstrong's Otherworld books. Again, though, that takes time and I'm not sure I want to dedicate my reading time to a single series.
What say you, fellow readers? Which series have you yet to finish? Which ones are you eager to start? Sound off!
