Book Blogger Hop: 3/11-3/14

March 11, 2011
I haven’t done the Book Blogger Hop in AGES! Okay, it hasn’t been that long, but it’s been a while. This lovely hop is hosted by Crazy for Books and you should hop on over there to see who else is participating this week. 😀 This week’s question is:
“If I gave you £50 (or $80) and sent you into a bookshop right now, what would be in your basket when you finally staggered to the till?”

Eighty dollars would not last long with me when in a bookstore, haha. Here’s what I would probably buy:

Afterlife by Claudia Gray (I need a finished copy, teehee)
The Demon’s Lexicon by Sarah Rees Brennan
The Sky Is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson
Lemniscate by Jennifer Murgia
The Lost Saint by Bree Despain (Again, I need a finished copy, lol)

I’m not sure if those would actually add up to $80, but oh well. 🙂 Can’t wait to see what everyone else would buy!

I think that’d probably be around $80! Yeah, It really doesn’t go that far. 🙂 I enjoyed the Lost Saint and thought The Sky is Everywhere was beautifully written! Not really familiar with Lemniscate, but will be looking it up now. Great choices!

$80 really doesn’t go that far when it comes to buying books. Hardbacks being between $16-$26. I also have Afterlife on my list of books I’d buy!

    I’m a new follower too 🙂

I’m thinking I’d have to pick up your list as well! Of course, that $80 would be paired with a little of my own, cause going to the bookstore for me is like going to the grocery store for most…I always get more than I went in for!

Wow! What a great question this week. I always peek at other people’s book piles at the checkout link at B&N. That doesn’t make me a voyeur, does it?

The exhibitionist in me has posted my own bookstore shopping list — and it’s not as predictable as you may think!

Hop on over to my blog for all the suspense and chills of my TBR list – http://www.howardsherman.net

    Happy Hop Friday!
