Ms. Taylor’s writing continues to be great in this book. Her descriptions are lovely, always evoking the right emotion/image, and the dialogue never seemed awkward. I felt like some of the sentences read awkwardly, but not enough to deter me from the story. What I really love about Ms. Taylor’s writing is that she knows how to write an extremely heartwarming scene and the next one has your heart beating in suspense. There’s a great balance between the action, mystery, and romance.
I have read a lot of angel books, but the Fall of Angels series presents them in a different light, one that is surprising and frightening. Even if you think you can’t read another angel book, try this series because Ms. Taylor has taken a popular creature and made them all her own.
If I had a rating system, I would give this five stars out of five. But since I don’t, I’ll just say I absolutely loved it and I really hope there are more installments. Jessica and Alex have captured my heart and I’m sure readers will fall in love with them too! 🙂
