Quite a few of my followers and fellow bloggers are from various countries and I think it’s great that reading (and writing) brings us all together. Although English is my first language, I’m also learning how to speak Spanish and in the future, I would love to learn other languages. So, I was wondering how you all use different languages in terms of reading, writing, and blogging. Have you read any foreign language editions of books originally published in English? If so, how did they compare and what was it like reading the story in a different language? If you use other languages in regards to the literary world, please leave a comment and check back because I might ask a follow up question. 🙂

This is easy for me since I use Spanish for everything! Really. Spanish is actually my first language which makes me want to use Spanish in everything I do like reading, writing, and even speaking.

Diana-Do you prefer reading in English or Spanish? Have you read any books in both languages and if so, how did they compare?

I prefer reading in English since I’m better at it. I haven’t read a full book in Spanish yet but I’ve been begging my mom to buy me a book in Spanish. I tried once but the formatting is different and there are some words that I can’t pronounce which makes it harder for me to read.

Diana-Thanks for responding! It’s cool, though, that you’ll probably learn new words/phrases when you eventually read a Spanish book. 🙂
