Linger Thoughts from the Giveaway Winners!

July 13, 2010

I held a finished copy of Linger yesterday. And the green font looks oh so pretty. I didn’t buy it, though, because I had ordered an autographed copy. I might get another one, though, because I certainly can’t take my signed copy with me out in the wild! Anyway, since the release date of this fabulously amazing novel was pushed up, I thought I’d share with you my Linger giveaway winners’ thoughts on the novel.

Here’s what Cristal had to say:

Linger definitely lived up to all that Shiver is and really took it to a greater height as it continued the beautiful story of Sam and Grace: lyrical writing that brings every scene to life, really speaking to every one of your senses; characters that are so real and deep and a refreshing change from stereotypical YA characters; and an engaging plot that twists and turns, keeping you constantly on edge for the next page.

The two new POVs of Isabel and Cole really add to the story, giving you different looks at the same scenes and also a couple that’s so unlike Sam and Grace, but one that’s still tied together by the same underlying elements, bringing everything together like different verses of the same song. Linger is definitely a must-read, one you’ll read over and over as you wait for Forever!

And Jaimie reviewed it on GoodReads, so here’s the review:

This was amazing to get an advance copy i enjoyed isabel snarky comments, what a match made in heaven lol jokin and it was written like poetry very entertaining. It not only had two pov but 4 pov. It’s a new take on werewolves and the cover is gorgeous. It makes you wonder what will happen next since there’s a cliffhanger only problem i had is waiting for it’s sequel Forever last of the series.

I’m waiting to post my own review because I have something special/cool in store. So look out for a Linger-related “announcement” soon! Now go out and buy Linger!
