Movie Cast Monday: 2/15

**I was not aware Natalie at Mindful Musings would choose Shiver for today too. I sincerely apologize.**

For years, Grace has watched the wolves in the woods behind her house. One yellow-eyed wolf—her wolf—is a chilling presence she can’t seem to live without. Meanwhile, Sam has lived two lives: In winter, the frozen woods, the protection of the pack, and the silent company of a fearless girl. In summer, a few precious months of being human… until the cold makes him shift back again.

Now, Grace meets a yellow-eyed boy whose familiarity takes her breath away. It’s her wolf. It has to be. But as winter nears, Sam must fight to stay human—or risk losing himself, and Grace, forever.

Yes, I know, Shiver just keeps popping up on my blog. If you couldn’t tell already, I LOVE this book. Well, I love all the books I’ve read, but this one will always be special to me. I even wrote a song based off of it.

If you’d like some inspiration, there’s a few slideshow videos on YouTube. Just type in “Shiver dream cast” and one will automatically pop up and when you click it, there’ll be more listed in the “related videos”.

You don’t have to cast every character, but Sam and Grace are a must. Have fun and let the casting begin! 🙂

Ok, I have to preface this by saying that this is my first EVER attempt to cast a book. Here goes!

    GRACE: Emilie de Ravin

    SAM: Alex Turner

    OLIVIA: Ellen Page

    ISABEL: Dianna Agron

    JACK: Garrett Hedlund

    RACHEL: Emma Roberts

    BECK: George Clooney

    SHELBY: Alexandra Daddario

Emilie de Raven may be a little too old now, but she’s always been a favorite of mine because she has a sweetness that translates to film–the way I picture Grace to be. Sam was definitely the hardest. I’ve been told Alex Turner is Maggie Stiefvater’s pick, so I decided to trust her on it!
