Schuler Books Affiliate

August 4, 2010

As most of you know, Schuler Books is an independent bookstore who I started reviewing books through. I am still one of their reviewers and thanks to them I have had the opportunity to read some amazing books before they’ve been published. The store is like my second home and I could spend hours, if not days, wandering around the store.

So, what does me being an affiliate mean? Well, if you look on the left side of my blog, you’ll see an icon for Schuler Books. If you click it, you’ll be directed to their website. That link is specific to DJ’s Life in Fiction and if you end up purchasing books, Schuler will know you came from my site and I will receive a small percentage of purchases made through my referral. I can then use the money for things like buying items to giveaway or even to obtain my own domain.

You may be asking why you should buy books online through Schuler. Well, here are a few reasons that I think will inspire you to do so:

-You’ll be supporting an independent bookstore
-They ship anywhere in the United States and to Canada
-They have access to print-on-demand books like The Pace by Shelena Shorts and Angel Star by Jennifer Murgia
-Shipping is a dollar per book

If you would like to check out Schuler Books’ website, just click the image in my right sidebar under my “About Me” box. And if you prefer buying books online and would like to try a new site, just use my special link and start shopping! πŸ™‚

I hope I didn’t take up too much of your time and thanks for reading!

DJ, Thank you for the kind words about Schuler Books. It pains me that indie bookstores are closing accross the nation. It is the passion of readers like you that give indie bookstores hope for being around for future generations to enjoy.
