So Many Books, So Little Time…

March 10, 2010

My love for books is kind of insane. I’m one of those people who has to make sure my books are in pristine condition and I hardly ever lend them out to others to read. You would think my books are made of glass or something. Now, I don’t buy every single book I want to read, but I do prefer buying my books than checking them out from the library. There’s just something about getting a brand new book. I also hate to put down a good book, but that’s not too uncommon. My record time for reading a book in one sitting is three hours and that was Linger, the sequel to Shiver

So, given my unhealthy addiction to books, I have created a pretty big pile of books that I have yet to read and need to do so soon. And since I receive ARCs, the pile is continuously growing. I planned on listing the books that are patiently waiting for me to read them, but that would be a pretty long list, so instead, here are the books in my “Read Next” pile:
*I couldn’t find the cover for this, but the ARC I have has a beautiful cover that I hope ends up on the finished book. It’s red and has a “silhouette” of a couple about to embrace. Does that make sense?*
And I’m still working on Everlasting by Angie Frazier, but I can say that I love it so far and can’t wait to finish it! If only I had the time…
Have any books you have yet to or want to read? If so, leave a comment and tell me which ones they are so my To Be Read pile can get even bigger. You can never have too many books, right? 🙂

I have the first two Morganville Vampires books, but I keep saying “Oh, I’ll read those later” and then I never do. I should probably add them to my actual pile. Haha.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Hourglass and I hope you do too.

I keep hearing great things about The Pace, which makes me even more excited to read it. 🙂
