Kat Kruger’s The Night Is Found is a triumphant finale to her Magdeburg Trilogy. Kruger has reinvented the werewolf genre with her dark and beautiful take, and while she was already a force to be reckoned with, she has shown incredible growth as a writer over the course of the series.
Connor, Madison, Amara, and Arden return in full force to bring the packs together and their struggles are both intense and intriguing to witness. Both Arden and Amara, who have remained rather mysterious in the previous installments, finally start showing their true colors and they’ve quickly become two of my favorite characters. Additionally, the werewolf politics remain one of my favorite elements of the series, and Kruger has done a splendid job weaving them in without overpowering the other highlights.
With expert prose and an action-packed plot, The Night Is Found is all-consuming, and a perfect end to a fascinating trilogy. I can’t wait to see what Kat Kruger has in store for us next!
