This Week’s Happenings

January 27, 2011

So, I’ve been a really bad blogger recently. Mostly it’s because I’m back in school and, well, homework sucks, haha. Add in work on Hunted and you have on busy DJ. 🙂 I’m sorry for the lack of activity, but thanks for hanging in there.

I would like to point out some things, though, that have happened recently. First off, I have two songs that are now available for your ears. The first, which I mentioned earlier, is “Delirium”, inspired by Lauren Oliver’s upcoming novel of the same name. The song is no longer available on the mobile site, but instead it can be found on YouTube! So far, the video has 276 views. Let’s bump that up, shall we?
To listen to the song, click HERE.
The other song is called “Echo” and I wrote it after reading Kimberly Derting’s Desires of the Dead, the amazing sequel to The Body Finder. Kimberly was so kind as to make a video for it and put it on YouTube. On her blog, she posted about it and also included the lyrics.

Also, things at YATopia are coming together wonderfully and if you haven’t checked out the site yet, please do so immediately! To read today’s post, click here: YATopia

Over at Books Over Boys, I was asked to give my thoughts on book covers. This guest post is a few weeks old, but I don’t recall posting it. I know I tweeted it…I think, haha. Anyway, if you’d like to read that, click HERE.

Well, that’s all for now. I hope everyone is doing well and hopefully I’ll have more to share about Hunted soon! Oh, speaking of, if you’d like to request an ARC, don’t forget to email Madelyn at Pendrell to do so: madelyn@pendrellpublsihing.com

Your blog was the first book blog I started following (spring of 2010). It has been so much fun to watch you grow as well as watch your dreams of publication come true. You are very talented and are destined for greatness! I look forward to standing in line for your book signing. 🙂
It was pretty awesome to see your lyrics and song on Kim Dertings blog.
